[ORyoungbirder] Crook County Purple Finches

I was at a friends house today studying chemistry, when I looked out the window at one of the Finch feeders. There was one male Purple Finch on the feeder, so I got up to look around the feeder, and 4 more males and a few female Purple Finches spooked up. Needless to say the my friend recieved a life bird today :)
   
  This was in Powell Butte, about 7 miles from where Purple Finches had been seen by Chuck Gates and others earlier this year.
