[ORyoungbirder] Crook County Owling

I spent last night up in the Ochocos near Lookout Mtn. doing some owling. It was this time last year when that the I found Barred Owls up there. Along the way, I stopped at several places including Independent Mine, where I got my county Northern Saw-whet Owl. When I got to the Barred Owl spot, my dad told me that about 2 hours earlier he had heard an owl above his camper that only stayed for a few minutes. I played him the sound and he said that it sounded like the Barred Owl. I spent about 2 more hours in that area looking, but didn't get a response. I will be going back up tonight for another try.
