[ORyoungbirder] Prineville Sewer Ponds

On Tuesday 1/23 I went out on my usuall survey of the Prineville Sewer Ponds. Still lots of the usuall in no particular order: 
   
  Ring-necked Ducks
  Mallard
  1 Pintail
  Gadwall
  Green-winged teal
  Canada Goose
  Northern Shovers
  American Wigeon
  Bufflehead
  White-crowned sparrows
  Song Sparrow
   
  Highlights:
   
  2 Hooded Mergansers in the Crooked River (1st sighting for me at the ponds)
  1 Snow Goose in a flock of 50+ Canada Geese
   
  On Thursday, 1/25, Chuck Gates and I went out and did the same.
  Species and numbers of each specie were about the same
   
  Highlight:
  2 Hooded Mergansers (Crooked River)
  1 Pied Billed Grebe (Crooked River) (1st sighting for me at the ponds)
